Bicycles are not very popular here. Just because of the climate. We have four seasons here: almost winter, winter, still winter, constructions Smile

Not very popular here either. I bicycle daily, because i don't have car and i'm to stingy to pay for public transport. At the wintertime i don't much, it's practically a suicide. I never use a helmet. We have a stupid law which says that we should wear helmet, but it also says that the police can't punish for not obeying it Smile

Our great government planned to make it obligatory below 18 years old. Fortunately parliament was dissolved and I think they failed to vote on this question. They planned a fine if you don't obey to this law.

IT, you government cares about you so, so much and you ungratefully spit on them?! What more you want, a dummy? Very Happy

Yes i'm very ungrateful Sad I'm hoping that they would also make walking helmets mandatory so we citizens wouldn't hurt ourselves.
Actually i wouldn't be much surprised of that Smile There's some politicians (mostly women, sorry girls), who always gets shocked by everything and wants to do some nonsense laws to get things better. This helmet issue was probably something like this:
A: "Oh my god somebody got killed bicycling, let's ban bicycling!"
B: "No we cannot ban bicycling"
A: "Well then lets make helmets mandatory"
B: "Yes we can do that, but then nobody would bicycle anymore"
A: "Damn... Well we have to do something about it, lets make it illegal to bicycle without a helmet, but let's not punish those who does it!"

I know how to improve this helmet idea Smile Producers of these helmets should (obligatory of course) provide also detailed instructions how to use it (in all languages of the EU of course, including all variants of Gypsy slangs Razz ).

As far as walking helmets are concentrated I agree under one condition. Those who would unashamedly refuse to wear it would be sent to concentration camps. We cannot tolerate such horrific extravagance after all Smile
